CSP National have experience running large scale Behavior Change Programs.
Targeted toward the Residential sector, the business model was to educate communities on how to reduce their energy, water, waste and to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. This program was sold as a package to Local Governments consisting of a Home Energy Audit (developed by Ecosmart) this project morphed into the delivery of over 15,000 home energy audits throughout Australia and the provision of energy auditors and software solutions for the Perth, Townsville and Blacktown Solar Cities projects with project revenue over $3 million.
In 2007, CSP moved into Residential Solar installations with the idea the energy audit would identify sustainable solutions for the household and at a press of a button infrastructure such as Solar Power, Grey water, energy efficient lighting and other options would be presented with cost, payback and greenhouse reduction combined with an NABERS before and after energy star rating. Solar Power consumed the business with sales going from $750k to $7.5m in 12 months with overall revenues of $55m over 5 years.
CSP Director previously was the founding Director of Ecosmart which changed its name to Mojarra Pty Ltd with the core business model using an Energy Assessment led business and packaging up a total energy efficiency solution to commercial clients. A simple Return on Investment was presented and an application to the Australian Government Carbon Fund made to cover up to 50% of the value of the project. The areas covered included, but not limited to; Voltage Optimisation, LED Lighting, Solar Power, Energy Management Systems and Carbon Offsetting. Given each energy efficient solution would impact the other; the company assessment system was complex in terms of its calculation, however the solution to some degree was unvested in terms of not pushing one solution.
